This is more than a learning platform. It’s a space to grow together
Frequently Asked Quesitons
Who is a good candidate for cosmetic tattoos?
Most healthy individuals are good candidates.
There are very few cases in which someone is not a candidate for at least one of the
techniques available, depending on what you’re looking for! Reach out directly to your artist
if you have concerns about medical contraindications
Which brow service should I book and what if I schedule for the wrong technique?
Don’t worry! You don’t have to know! You can schedule for any technique and we can adjust
what we do the day of your appointment based on what we discuss during your consultation.
How long do these enhancements last?
Typically these enhancements last anywhere from 2-5 years. What we look for in terms of
maintenance readiness is that the brows are at least 50% faded or more.
Is it painful?
Most clients report minimal discomfort! A topical numbing cream is used during the service to
help alleviate any sort of sensitivity.
What’s the healing process like for brows?
For 10- 14 days, you will want to follow a fairly low maintenance aftercare that I will send you
home with. Expect some tenderness in the first day or so and light flaking around days 5-14.
During the time that you are flaking, you’ll want to keep your brows dry, avoid sweating, stay
out of the sun and only apply to the brows what I send with you in a kit. The color will appear
darker and warmer in tone at first, but will soften 30-50% on average once settled in the skin.
The full color will be settled in around week 5/6.
What’s the difference between Microblading, Nano, Powder, Combo?
• Microblading: Hair-like strokes, skin breaks, texture focused, dry-normal
skin types are good candidates
• Nano Brows: Hair- like strokes, skin breaks, texture focused, less invasive,
all skin types are candidates
• Powder Brows: Soft, shaded technique, coverage focused, filled in effect,
all skin types are candidates
• Combo Brows: A combination of a hairstroke technique like Microblading or
nano and a shaded technique like powder. Hairstrokes are created first in
the skin and then shading is added in between the strokes to soften the
contrast between the stroke and the skin.
Is it safe?
Yes! — we are highly trained, licensed tattoo artists and follow strict hygiene protocols in a
sterile environment all mandated by the state health department.
How long does the procedure take?
An initial session for Microblading, Nano Brows, Powder Brows or Combo Brows will take
about 3-4 hours. This includes a thorough consultation, mapping, numbing, and the actual
procedure. Touch ups at 6-12 weeks are blocked out for 2 hours.
Do I need a touch-up?
Most times, yes. A touch-up is typically recommended 6–12 weeks after your first session to
perfect the shape and build the color. Your first session is intended to lay a foundation or a
framework to be built upon at your touch up. Each person’s retention looks different so it is
important to approach these enhancements conservatively.
